While German folk wisdom already claims that chimney sweeps bring you good luck, this master of her trade jokes that "a female chimney sweep brings double the good luck."

She - like all of the craftswomen, technicians, engineers and scientists portrayed in our exhibition - goes her own way, no matter what people say. What inspires her about her job?
"The nice thing about my job is that I never get bored, I've been in my job for thirty years and I've never had a boring day. Pure adventure every day."
