"Futur 3"
Vision of a distant future by looking back at a completed future.
Starting point is a photo from "Lettre". It shows a faded facade, an unreal architecture, windows that open to imaginary spheres.
The mystical impression is emphasized and reinforced by the material: a pure copper, which is made to glow by letting light reach it multible ways so that the motif is pushed into the background, the surface moves into the foreground in an oscillating manner, and the light gains the upper hand.
These light reflections are also caused by the peculiarity of the copper wire: it is stiff. Every kink remains embedded in its surface.
The futuristic atmosphere is created not only by the motif, but also by the appearance of the fabric itself.
