"Wellenradwaschmaschine WM 63"
(Agitator washing machine WM 63)

„You were very lucky to get one in the GDR."

Starting in 1960, the WM 63 took its place in the kitchen, allowing people to wash the laundry right there. If you were a little bit savvy, you could even “hack” the machine and find new uses for it.

People removed the wave wheel, constructed a metal stand to hold glasses and just like that, they could use the machine for small-batch food preservation. And if they hosted big parties, they could heat sausages in it.

A "special" flavor - "Pretzel sausages".
